La asignatura se cursa durante el cuarto semestre del grado (Segundo Semestre de 2º curso), una vez adquiridos los conocimientos necesarios sobre principios constructivos, elementos y sistemas en Construcción I (Primer curso del Grado), así como también los adquiridos en la asignatura de Construcción II (impartida en Primer Semestre de 2º curso del Grado), la cual le aportará la total comprensión del cierre de la envolvente del edificio y las conexiones e interacción entre las distintas partes de la misma (cubiertas-fachadas). A su vez, al haber cursado la asignatura de Materiales de Construcción de primer curso, el alumno es capaz de entender aquellas cuestiones de carácter tecnológico necesarias para poder comprender las secuencias constructivas y la puesta en obra de los materiales. The course is taken during the fourth semester of the degree (Second Semester of 2nd year), once the necessary knowledge on construction principles, elements and systems in Construction I (First year of the Degree) has been acquired, as well as those acquired in the subject of Construction II (taught in the first semester of the 2nd year of the Degree), which will provide you with a full understanding of the closure of the building envelope and the connections and interaction between its different parts (roofs-facades). In turn, having completed the Construction Materials subject in the first year, the student is able to understand those technological issues necessary to be able to understand the construction sequences and the implementation of the materials.

FACHADAS, PARTICIONES Y REVESTIMIENTOS. Conocer los principios y sistemas constructivos de las fachadas, particiones y revestimientos, así como los materiales que las componen, las relaciones entre ellos, las peculiaridades constructivas de cada tipología y sus usos. Se pretende que el alumno sea capaz de analizar las secuencias constructivas y puestas en obra de cada una de ellas. En consecuencia, verificará sus conocimientos previos en cuanto a su resolución gráfica y la correcta concordancia con las exigencias de la normativa. Contrastará las diversas soluciones posibles y esquematizará las propuestas constructivas que crea conveniente en cada caso, situación, ubicación o necesidad. En definitiva la asignatura pretende aportarte el conocimiento necesario para resolver de forma correcta la envolvente del edificio, así como los elementos constructivos interiores, que conozca la problemática de cada una de las tipologías y sea capaz de tomar, con conocimiento técnico, las decisiones adecuadas en la ejecución de las fachadas, particiones y los revestimientos más adecuados para cada caso. La fachada es un elemento clave en la edificación por formar parte de su envolvente, su adecuado diseño y ejecución garantizará el cumplimiento de las exigencias primarias de cualquier sistema (resistencia, estabilidad y durabilidad) y garantiza el cumplimiento de las exigencias funcionales de protección frente a la humedad, el ahorro energético, la protección frente al ruido, la seguridad de uso y accesibilidad entre otros. FACADES, PARTITIONS, AND COVERINGS. Students should know the construction principles of the façades, partitions, and coverings, as well as the materials that compose them, the relations between them, the constructive peculiarities of each type, and their uses. Students should be capable of analyzing construction and sequences of them. They should verify their knowledge in terms of graphic resolution and correct compliance with the requirements of the regulations. Students should contrast the different possible solutions and they should understand constructive proposals, considering their case, situation, location, or need. Ultimately the subject aims to bring the knowledge necessary to solve properly the skin design of the building, as well as the interior construction elements, understanding, and solving construction’ problems. The façade is a key element in the building because it forms part of its envelope, its adequate design and execution will guarantee compliance with the primary requirements of any system (resistance, stability and durability) and guarantees compliance with the functional requirements of protection against humidity, energy saving, protection against noise, safety of use and accessibility, among others.

Actos OBLIGATORIOS de EVALUACIÓN ORDINARIA: 2 PRUEBAS ESCRITAS de respuesta abierta de carácter teórico/práctico que podrán incluir preguntas tipo Test. (40% cada una) 2 PRÁCTICAS DE CURSO. Acto de evaluación OBLIGATORIO previo a la realización de las pruebas escritas. (5% cada una) 1 TRABAJO DE CURSO temático sobre edificaciones reales según directrices facilitadas en la GUÍA DE LA ASIGNATURA. (10%) Acto de EVALUACIÓN de RECUPERACIÓN: 1 Acto de Evaluación de Recuperación correspondiente al valor de las 2 PRUEBAS ESCRITAS, 80% de la nota final. Se mantendrán las notas obtenidas en el Trabajo de Curso y en las Prácticas. Nota: según el art. 14.9 de la NRAEA, el estudiantado podrá concurrir a los actos de recuperación de la asignatura, aún teniendo aprobados los actos de evaluación continua, con objeto de mejorar su calificación final. No obstante, la calificación obtenida en los actos de recuperación podrá suponer una modificación de la calificación final tanto al alza como a la baja. En este caso, deberá de solicitarlo al profesor responsable con al menos 3 días de antelación. NOTAS IMPORTANTES: - Cuota mínima de asistencia del 80%. La no asistencia/participación impedirá la evaluación del estudiante. - Puntualidad en la asistencia a clase: El profesor podrá limitar el acceso al aula una vez iniciada la clase. - De acuerdo con la Normativa de convivencia universitaria y de régimen disciplinario de la UPV, el alumno tendrá que abstenerse de utilizar dispositivos electrónicos tales como ordenadores, tabletas, teléfonos móviles y cualquier otro dispositivo similar durante las actividades docentes y de evaluación, salvo consentimiento del profesor. Alumnos ERASMUS/ EXENCIÓN DE ASISTENCIA: - Deberán ponerse en contacto con el responsable de grupo/asignatura la primera semana del inicio de curso para informar al profesor de su condición. - Deberán realizar los mismos actos de evaluación que el resto de alumnos matriculados. - Podrán realizar las PRÁCTICAS y el TRABAJO de CURSO de forma no presencial bajo la supervisión del profesor responsable del grupo, cumpliendo los mismos plazos de realización y entrega que el resto de alumnos. - Las PRUEBAS ESCRITAS se realizarán de manera presencial en la ETSIE, según fechas previstas en calendario aprobado por Junta de Centro. - Cualquier alteración a la información adicional deberá tratarse a través de la Jefatura de Estudios. EVALUATION of ORDINARY EVENTS FOR SPECIFIC ENGLISH GROUP (FLIP TEACHING METHODOLOGY): 2 WRITTEN open-ended exams of a theoretical/practical nature that may include Test-type questions. Total value EXAM (15%+15%) 6 PRACTICES. The act of assessment MANDATORY before the performance of written tests. Total value PRACTICES 60%. 1 PROJECT on roofs and/or flat roofs of real buildings according to guidelines provided in the GUIDELINE OF THE SUBJECT. Total value PROJECT: 10%. RECOVERY EVALUATION ACT: 1 Recovery Assessment Act corresponds to the 2 WRITTEN EXAMS value, 30% of the total score. Note:"According to art. 14.9 of the NRAEA, students may attend the recovery acts of the subject, even if they have passed the continuous assessment acts, to improve their final grade. However, the grade obtained in the recovery acts may imply a modification of the final grade, either upwards or downwards. In this case, the student must apply to the teacher responsible at least 3 days in advance". ERASMUS / ATTENDANCE EXEMPTION Students: - They must contact members of staff in each Subject Group during the first week of the course to inform the teacher of their condition. - They must evaluate according to the official schedule published on the ETSIE website (similar to the other students). - They will be able to carry out the PRACTICES and the PROJECT non-face-to-face under the supervision of the teacher responsible for the group, fulfilling the same completion and delivery times as the rest of the students.
